Cardinal Health’s board of directors has elected chief financial officer Jason Hollar as the new CEO of the healthcare distributor, the company announced Thursday.
Hollar will begin his role as CEO of the company on September 1. His current CEO, Mike Kaufmann, who has led Cardinal Health for the past five years and worked within the company for more than 30 years, is stepping down.
Hollar joined Cardinal in 2020 as CFO, during which time he has “helped Cardinal Health prioritize investments in growth businesses, strengthen its balance sheet and return capital to shareholders,” the company said in a statement. said in
