The program aims to help women improve their skills and use new technologies to grow, improve and digitize their businesses and gain an edge in the digital economy. This year, there will also be prizes for the top three entrepreneurs selected at the end of the five-day online training.
The training consists of 3 courses. Cloud Computing and its Benefits for SMMEs; Digital Marketing for Business Success; Leadership Development, especially in the increasingly competitive online market space. The program concludes with face-to-face networking opportunities at Huawei’s Park office in Woodmead, Johannesburg.
Clinical psychologist, facilitator, executive coach and renowned practitioner in the field of gender and development in South Africa and abroad, Dr. Jude Clark will deliver the leadership course.
“More and more women entrepreneurs are taking on leadership roles, changing the landscape of leadership in different sectors in South Africa. The program explores what it means for women entrepreneurs to be empowered and the psychological and relationship changes required to align personal power with business vision. ,” says Dr. Clark.
Pumza Mthethwa, Strategic Commercial Director at BrandTies, introduces entrepreneurs to the latest trends in digital marketing.
She says it’s more important than ever to ensure business owners don’t get left behind in the rapidly changing digital space.
