BISMARCK — Two key priorities for the North Dakota Department of Health and Human Services are behavioral health and strong, stable families. These topics will form the basis of an upcoming conference hosted by the agency’s Behavioral Health and Children and Family Services Division, October 11-13. Individuals can attend in person at the Holiday Inn Fargo or virtually via an online live stream.

The conference will focus on understanding adolescent substance use from a brain and behavioral perspective, evidence-based treatment of trauma via telemedicine, coping with post-pandemic trauma, convergence of esports, gaming, gambling, and more. Various workshops on the topic of are also held.

The registration fee is $175 for the 3-day conference and $25 for college students, foster parents, and adoptive parents.
