The Bayhealth Foundation recently received a $50,000 donation from the WSFS Cares Foundation to help grow Bayhealth’s graduate medical education program.

Vernita Dorsey, senior vice president and community strategy director at WSFS Bank, said:

This donation will allow Bayhealth to continue expanding its GME program and increasing the number of resident physicians treating patients in central and southern Delaware. Bayhealth is currently offering his GME programs in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine and General Surgery and is actively recruiting the first trainees for the Emergency Medicine program starting in July 2023.
