Neiman Marcus wraps up New York fashion with diner set Fete

what truth Looking gorgeous like today? According to Neiman Marcus, luxury isn’t limited to restaurants with panoramic views and rooms adorned with Rococo moldings. Instead, it is found comfortably. Perhaps this is why the luxury retailer decided it would be perfect to toast to its latest “Live Your Luxury” campaign at Manhattan’s iconic Empire His Diner on the final night of New York Fashion Week.
“Want to find luxury in your everyday life?” said Jodi Kahn, Vice President of Luxury at Neiman Marcus. trendAs the terraces outside retro diners begin to fill with fashion people in cocktail dresses and brightly colored shirts, Khan is ready for their latest campaign in a sparkling ensemble by young designer Bach Mai. “This campaign encourages people to always look their best. To celebrate their true selves and find genuine romance.”
Co-hosted by celebrity stylists Erin Walsh and Jason Lembert, Cocktail Hour was anything but pretentious of any kind, even though Neiman Marcus remains a pillar of fashionable luxury. Designers like Prabal Gurung and Sally LaPointe enjoyed bubbling champagne next to burgers and fries as Silvia Prada beats rocked the dance floor. “I love Nimans because they have supported me from the beginning,” Lapointe said shortly after the Spring 2023 season. Elsewhere, she wore a gorgeous purple and white floral jacket. Bach Mai meets friends and fans of his latest collection.
But the party wasn’t all about the industry. Especially when the phrase “I’ve been very busy this season” wafted around participants’ conversations. While camera lights flashed and some fan requests for photos, Anne Hathaway and Walsh caught up on family matters: the kids! A brief serious moment with Jerome Lamarr only paused their conversation. “Looks are everything! Corsets and pants! Who are you?” The designer replied, “My own label, 5:31!”
Regardless of the fashionable crowd, diners have the uncanny ability to make people feel nostalgic and relaxed. It was clear that it closed out the way the fashion insiders wanted it.
