HELENA — This week’s Out and About covers events from 9 to 99 years old.
A Doll’s House, Part 2 by Grandstreet Theater (September 1-4 and September 7-11)
The cast and crew unveil The Doll’s House, Part 2 in the Grandstreet Theater’s latest installation. Lyla Ackerman, Kristin Drees, Sabrina Malecek and Kevin Mathews will star in the play. Opening night is Thursday, September 1st at 7:30 PM. Tickets start at $17 for children and $23 for adults and can be found on his website at Grandstreet.
Tinker Labs: LEGO Zipline Challenge at ExplorationWorks (September 3, 12:30 PM)
This is where the 9- or 99-year-old event begins (the fun knows no age limit). On Saturday, ExplorationWorks opens its doors to members and the public to engage in interactive science experiments. This week the family will build their own zipline out of LEGO bricks. The event runs from 12:30pm to 2:30pm. For more information, see his website at ExplorationWorks.
Helena Farmers Market (Saturdays 9am-1pm on Fuller Avenue)
Last but not least, the time is ticking to visit the Helena Farmers Market. Get out there and support your local farmers and businesses. From produce and flowers to handcrafted hats and jewelry, the Helena Farmers Market runs every Saturday from 9am to 1pm on Fuller Avenue until his October 29th.
