[ad_1]
Erie County Earth Science Day teaches us about our home planet through interactive exhibits and demonstrations in a family-friendly environment
If you’re looking for another reason to visit Penn Dixie, ranked as the number one fossil park in the US, consider attending Earth Science Day in Erie County. This is the day everyone becomes a scientist. It is also a day to look for fossils. But fossil hunting is just the beginning. Many like-minded exhibitors will participate on the day.
Visitors to Penn Dixie have the opportunity to participate in fossil hunts and explore nature trails. Other activities include Memory Quest challenges that run throughout the day (teams of 2 or more must search the park to collect tokens to answer questions and solve puzzles ).
Penn Dixie welcomes science enthusiasts from around the globe, to uncover trilobites, brachiopods, crinoids, and corals that lived in a shallow ocean 380 million years ago.
Erie County Earth Science Day is a fun event for all ages. It’s also an educational outing that kids will remember fondly for years to come.
