El Paso, TX (KTSM) – Insights will hold a morning ceremony on August 30th to introduce the new Jobe Safe Shade Outdoor Classroom.
The ceremony will take place at the DinoTracks site in Sunland Park, New Mexico. Includes a short DinoTracks hike at 9am. According to Insights, they will showcase an innovative design of a custom long-span shading canopy pioneered by his POST (Project for Operative Spatial Technologies) research center at Texas Tech University of Architecture. Safe Shade Outdoor Classroom will increase the length and quality of the educational programs offered on the DinoTracks site and serve as the official trailhead for the new statewide Rio Grande Trail.
The Insights DinoTrack site is said to lie at the base of Mount Cristoray and has revealed fossilized dinosaur tracks dating back 98 million years, including five species of dinosaurs and many ancient marine creatures.
Insights is currently raising funds to raise additional funds needed for construction materials, vault toilets, and permanent storage of the site. For more information, please visit the Insights GoFundMe page: https://www.gofundme.com/f/InsightsOutdoorClassroom
