Free Online Training for Women Entrepreneurs

Technology company Huawei SA invites female entrepreneurs to participate in a digital skills training program.
In its second year, the Women in Tech Entrepreneurial Digital Skills Training Program offers free online training in cloud computing, digital marketing, and leadership development.
Huawei said in a statement that it aims to help local women improve their skills and use new technologies to grow, improve and digitize their businesses and gain an edge in the digital economy.
Clinical psychologist and facilitator Dr. Jude Clarke will deliver the leadership course, according to a statement.

The training consists of three courses: Cloud Computing and its Benefits for SMMEs, Digital Marketing for Business Success, and Leadership Development.
The training begins September 21-23 with an introduction to cloud computing courses. Then comes his Digital His Marketing course on September 27th, led by his Pumza Mthethwa, Strategic Commercial Director of Brand Ties.
On September 28th, Clark will lead a leadership development course.
Mthethwa said it’s more important than ever to ensure business owners don’t get left behind in the rapidly changing digital space. “This digital marketing training program explores the latest trends and how women-owned businesses can leverage them to grow their businesses.”

“We are delighted to be reviving this program as an annual initiative in 2022.”
This year, the program will offer prizes to the top three entrepreneurs selected at the end of the five-day online training.
It will also conclude with face-to-face networking opportunities at Huawei’s office park in Woodmead, Johannesburg.
