The new collection of Clothing for Contemporary Life (CFCL), designed by former ISSEY MIYAKE MEN Yusuke Takahashi, presents various volumes for the Spring/Summer 2023 season.

“Vol. brand’s new 5-inch collection centers on blue and contrasting proportions (extended, swelled, circular), with angular floor spaces painted blue and covered with blown glass objects.” , to further emphasize the cobalt theme, blue separates such as wavy pants and ruffled tops were sprinkled throughout the costume’s presentation.

Intricate knitwear such as button-down cardigans, sleeveless sheaths, turtlenecks and skirts were the highlights of the collection, while domed top hats and angular boots underpinned ready-to-wear ensembles.

Since Mr. Takahashi launched the brand in 2020, CFCL has received attention and recognition from buyers and consumers as a promising brand to watch, including winning this year’s Tokyo Fashion Grand Prix.
