Tacelli will join Bethlehem Central School District as K-12 Academic Supervisor. He will oversee the district’s physical education, health, family, and consumer science departments. Prior to coming to Bethlehem, Taselli spent the past four years as an assistant principal at Knickerbacker Middle School in Lansingburg.
Originally from the Capital District and now living in the District, Tacelli has 16 years of experience as a K-12 teacher, coach and administrator, as well as several years as a physical education teacher at Albany City Schools. . She holds her Bachelor’s degree in Education from SUNY Cortland, a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Walden University and a Management degree from Western Governors University.
Tacellli said Bethlehem’s reputation as an academic leader inspired him to join the district’s educational leadership team.
“We want our physical education, health education and FACS programs to be successful so that children understand the importance of staying active while maintaining a healthy lifestyle,” said Tacelli. “I am a coach and teacher by profession, and this position gives me the perfect balance of both.”
Tacelli and his wife live in Delmar with their two children. Tacelli is a huge Yankees fan, he says, and he loves watching the Jets on Sundays.
Denis has joined the Bethlehem Central School District as a supervisor of K-12 medical services.
Management positions provide leadership and coordination of comprehensive health services. Denis oversees the district’s school nurses, coordinates the appropriate care of all students, and ensures that the district complies with all relevant laws and regulations and follows best practices related to student health. confirm.
Denis brings over 20 years of experience to this position. She is now Optum’s Long Term Care Nurse Practitioner. She has also served as a family nurse practitioner at Saratoga Hospital and a registered nurse in institutional health.
