My name is Marcus Rothstein. I am a Technical Education teacher at New Century Academy in Hutchinson. This is my first year! I attended college at St. Cloud State University.
I would like to share the exciting learning that is taking place at New Century Academy. I teach coding and programming courses. This course introduces students to the world of programming through a variety of software. Students started by learning Java Script with an online video game called CodeCombat. It’s a medieval-inspired game where you program your character to travel through different dungeons, fight enemies, collect gems to complete each level, and learn progressively more difficult coding skills.
