trek healthInc., a payment and insurance workflow automation platform for a group of mental health providers based in San Mateo, California, has closed a $2.7 million seed funding round.

The round was led by Lionheart Ventures, founders Collective, Jack and Max Altman of Altman Capital, Matt Brezina of Ford Street Ventures, Aaron King, CEO of Snapdocs, Frederic Kerrest, CEO of Okta, former Salesforce Chief Strategy Officer. Clarence So, former One Medical VP, attended. Operation Rich Menendez, et al. Trek Health’s board of directors will be joined by Shelby Clark, venture partner at Lionheart Ventures and founder of his marketplace Turo, the world’s largest car-sharing company.

The company plans to use the funds to expand its operations and business scope.

Led by CEO and Founder Dilpreet Sahota, Trek Health provides a platform integrated with EHR systems for mental health, including instant claims reimbursement, automated claims generation and submission, and payer registration across 900+ insurance networks. Provides access to a suite of solutions for providers. The company serves a wide range of national customers, including inpatient mental health rehabilitation centers, outpatient psychiatric facilities, outpatient psychotherapy facilities, and venture capital-backed mental health start-ups.
