Wet Dogs Poster Sophie Gamand
She funds the needy animals especially the dogs through her pictures to help in enlightening the world on the relationship between human beings and animals. Since each of the framed topics is a story, this poster copy of her Wet Dogs photo assemblage is as much a joy to look at, chuckle at, and warm the cockles of one’s heart as the dogs themselves. These little fellows will not be cowed into submission no matter the water, rain or soapy bath that is poured on their hands.

Empire State Building Poster Elliott Erwitt
This poster is a part of Elliot Erwitt’s exhibition 100+1, which features a silhouette of a lady and a black and white photograph of the landmark Empire State Building in fog.

Café Poster Anders Petersen
This poster reproduction of Petersen’s image “Cafe” captures the artist in a humorous mood, demonstrating his mastery of the intimate human study. In order to draw attention to the close proximity of the couple and the sensitivity that occurs when a hand caresses a cheek, he purposefully obscures the facial details of a couple who are seated in a public location and are in a romantic relationship. Due to the fact that the figures are anonymous, the reference of the gesture is effectively magnified, which leads to it becoming universal.

Jesus is My Homeboy: Last Supper Poster David LaChapelle
The Last Supper by LaChapelle recreates the biblical scene of Jesus’ last supper with his disciples in the twenty first century clearly inspired by Leonardo da Vinci’s The Last Supper painted in 1495-1498. Fashionable apparels, tattoos, and fast foods. This statement from LaChapelle’s interview indicates that her vision of the “Last Supper” is not very far from the biblical one: “The apostles were not the aristocracy, they were not the well-to-do, they weren’t the popular people; they were sort of the dreamers and the misfits. They were the ones on the outside looking in. The only similarity between da Vinci’s Last Supper with LaChapelle’s is that the latter targets a group of people that is socially excluded in contemporary society including the poor, the people of color, gangsters, drug dealers and prostitutes. This is on top of the minor similarities in the composition of the two scenes and Jesus’ red and blue chiton. Since LaChapelle baptizes Christ as ‘homeboy,’ his ‘Last Supper’ is a factual and funny parody of Christian imagery and lexicon, with a cheerful message about the reunification doctrine of Christ.

Bye Bye Paris Poster Ellen von Unwerth
Ellen von Unwerth is famous for sexual power struggle in her images but there is a rather solemn note of playfulness in this reproduction of her work “Bye Bye Paris”. What is more, as the fearless, creative model wearing clothes that can be attributed to both the girl and the woman, climbs a ladder holding a bouquet of bright balloons, the background depicting the pastel Parisian skyline moves. This poster has been a customer favourite since the moment it was created because of the modern, yet childish approach to the design that resembles children’s books illustrations.
