Science Cafe returns to Nashua

Science Cafe NH returns to Nashua’s in-person event at Margarita’s Restaurant at 1 Nashua Drive. long time no see!
The first monthly meeting will be on Wednesday, September 21 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.Topic: Health Impacts of Climate Change
Panelists are retired cardiologist Dr. Bob Dewey and state climatologist, UNH Professor Mary Stampone. We often hear about the latest data on heatwaves, melting Arctic ice, fires, floods and famines, but much less information about how a changing climate is impacting our daily lives. Hmm. What health effects are we suffering from? What effect will the slow evolution of our environment have on quality of life in New Hampshire, if there are no critical events nearby?
In case you forgot how this works, Science Cafe is a casual conversation with questions from the audience, not a lecture. Food and drinks will flow, so please come to dinner. Spend lots of money as Margarita is glad it was hosted!
It will continue to be streamed via Facebook and Youtube for those still wary of indoor meetings.
