A workshop on materials science was held at Himachal Pradesh University (HPU) to promote youth dissemination of the field. The event was held under the outreach program of the Bulletin of Materials Science, a journal of the Indian Academy of Sciences. Prominent scientists from various leading institutions in the country shared their findings, ideas and current global perspectives on materials science.

Last day of enrollment extended

The University of Himachal Pradesh has extended the last date for admission to its undergraduate programs from 31st August to 20th September. This decision was made to facilitate students who were unable to enroll within the stipulated time. This extension applies to governmental, non-governmental and Sanskrit universities.
