Bound by shared values, Reluxe and MATCHESFASHION are launching their first collaboration this August, curating beloved pieces exclusively available at MATCHESFASHION. Reluxe founder, stylist and tastemaker Claire Richardson is committed to working with like-minded brands and retailers to effect positive change.
Thanks to Clare’s unparalleled access to some of the world’s most stylish wardrobes, Reluxe is not only the premier second-hand destination, it’s changing the way we shop. It’s also a business on a mission: Reluxe is a truly circular luxury fashion shopping experience. Customers can both buy and sell on the platform, allowing them to indulge their love of fashion in a more considered and sustainable way. MATCHESFASHION shares these values and is committed to providing customers around the world with the most personal shopping experience, backed by our commitment to responsible business practices and a better way to work.

Limited to one month only, the MATCHESFASHION Edition is a capsule of hand-picked iconic collector’s pieces. Outerwear includes Phoebe-era Celine, Ghesquière Balenciaga, and signature Chanel tweed his jacket. The suit takes the form of Alaïa’s ultra-feminine silhouette and the red carpet glamor of Versace’s floor-sweeping gown, while accessories include the coveted blue patent Chanel round-as-earth crossbody and Celine’s Red round box shoulder his bag.
To celebrate the partnership, Claire joined MATCHESFASHION Chief Commercial Officer Elizabeth Von Der Goltz with FT HTSI editor Reluxe Jo Ellison, Vogue contributing beauty editor Funmi Fetto, and Le Monde Beryl’s Gather with friends of founder Lily Hanbury to photograph all the pieces in the collection. Change Her maker’s portfolio carries the flag of second-hand goods, making a strong statement about a more sustainable future for fashion.
