Fagerhult Group commits to Science Based Targets initiative

Stockholm, September 6, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — The Fagerhult Group is committed to the Science Based Targets initiative, SBTi. Stockholm upon August 31stst.
At Capital Markets Day, the Fagerhult Group presented a business update focusing on the group’s strategic initiatives and four business areas. The Fagerhult Group believes that megatrends are good for business and create good growth opportunities. Climate change and the energy crisis are increasing the need for energy efficient lighting solutions. Using the latest LED technology and connectivity solutions can reduce energy consumption by up to 90% compared to traditional lighting solutions.
The group also presented a high level of business-related ambition with further updates on connectivity and sustainability at a later date. This ambition is in line with the Group’s strong historical development. The business growth agenda is underpinned by specific growth opportunities in each business area, and strategic initiatives of innovation, sustainability, people and culture are all on track.
Sustainability will become even more important in the future. Fagerhult Group’s Sustainability Agenda, called ‘Positive Change for a Better Life’, was launched earlier this year and covers a wide range of his ESG agenda (Environmental, Social and Governance). By providing energy-efficient lighting solutions, the Group is already contributing to making society more sustainable. Fagerhult Group is now taking the next step and working on the SBT initiative.
