LRS appoints Emily Olson Torch as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
LRS, a provider of waste diversion, recycling and portable services based in Rosemont, Illinois, has appointed Emily Olson Torch as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
Olson-Torch brings to LRS a portfolio of more than 20 years of career achievements in business-to-consumer revenue and demand generation, digital marketing, customer retention and growth, brand innovation and reputation management.
She will be responsible for all aspects of LRS sales and marketing, with a focus on customer experience, digital marketing, technology and corporate branding.
Olson-Torch said: “Over the past decade, LRS has shifted the paradigm of the waste industry from a linear function in society to a profitable circular operating model rooted in reusing, repurposing and enhancing the value of waste. I am really looking forward to making a difference with the LRS.”
Olson-Torch joined LRS after seven years at home solutions manufacturer Honey-Can-Do. There, he was promoted from vice president of e-commerce and marketing to chief revenue officer, where he grew his revenue by triple digits during his tenure. Prior to Honey-Can-Do, he held senior sales, marketing, client, service and branding positions at Flor, Shopper Sciences, Zappos.com, OMD Worldwide, Starcom/Leo Burnett.
She earned a BA in Advertising from Michigan State University. She was named Crain’s Chicago Business Notable Marketing Executive for 2020. In 2018 she was quoted in Home Furnishing News’ 40 Under 40. In 2011 she won her Bronze Effie Award for her Zappos: Happy People Making People Happy campaign.
