LinkedIn Lists Top 20 In-Demand Skills

LinkedIn publishes a new report on the most in-demand skills based on an analysis of job postings. Top 20 skills featured in 78% of his posts.
Data for the report was compiled over the last three months and compared to the 2015 Top Skilled Professionals.
According to LinkedIn, job skill sets have changed by about 25% since 2015 and are expected to change by 41% by 2025.
Digital marketing is high on the list of most in-demand skills. Social media marketing was also on the list.
The list is divided into hard skills and soft skills, with hard skills making up more than half of the list.
To help people build these in-demand skills, LinkedIn is offering several premium courses for free in September.

Additionally, to help skilled professionals find jobs, LinkedIn updates search results to show job postings that are more relevant to your skill set.

Top in-demand marketing skills
LinkedIn offers additional lists of top skills, divided by specialization. We’ll highlight the top marketing skills here, but we also have listings for project management, IT, engineering, finance/accounting, and sales.
According to LinkedIn, the top 10 skills of marketing professionals have changed by 50% since 2015.
These are today’s top 10 marketing skills.

LinkedIn compares the top 10 marketing skills employers are looking for today and the top trending marketing skills for 2015.
Interestingly, SEO was not on the list at all, making it the third most in-demand marketing skill.

For marketers looking to acquire or enhance the above skills, LinkedIn is offering 10 related courses free through September 30th.
From now until the end of the month, you can access any of the following courses on LinkedIn, but there is an additional fee to take the final exam and receive your digital certificate.

Help LinkedIn users find jobs
LinkedIn is rolling out two new updates to help users find their next job.
When you search for jobs on LinkedIn, the site matches you to roles based on how your skills compare to those listed in the job description.
To facilitate contact and referrals, LinkedIn[求人]Accessing the tab will now show who is hiring in the 1st and 2nd tier networks.
Additionally, LinkedIn notifies you about positions that people in your network are hiring and gives you the first chance to apply.
