ISRAEL21c kicks off the school year with a cohort of 24 hand-picked digital ambassadors from North America and other college campuses.
Launched in 2014, the ISRAEL21c Digital Ambassador Internship Program provides training and scholarships for students who want to gain experience in digital media.
Program manager Emily Kaplan says students are helping create content aimed at Gen Z audiences.
“Especially because they are Generation Z, they have a unique perspective that helps ISRAEL21c appeal our content to a wider audience and spread the name of ISRAEL21c among their peers,” she said. say.
Andrew Exler, Director of Digital Marketing and Partnerships at ISRAEL21c, said: “It offers a very fresh perspective that is not focused on conflict politics.”
The new cohort, under the guidance of Kaplan and team leaders Sammy Friedman (Yeshiva University, New York), Miriam Cohen (Yeshiva University), Eli Aretz (University of Central Florida), and Nati Pressman (Queen’s University, Ontario), already has several I am working on some project. ) and she Lexi Naskiewicz (University of Maryland).
“One of the projects was to create a TikTok-style self-introduction video. I was asked to find a company I believed in and analyze that company’s strategy in seven minutes, which helps me practice how to be concise when giving presentations,” says Kaplan.
The project will directly benefit students by helping them network and develop professional skills that will help them in their future careers, she adds.
“Our goal is for these attendees to walk away with an understanding of digital marketing and media and a portfolio of their work,” says former Digital Ambassador Kaplan.
