Earn over £600,000 on GM Digital Marketing courses
Through the launch of two new training programs, hundreds of people in Greater Manchester will be trained in digital marketing skills and land high-paying jobs.
The Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA) has awarded contracts to The Fearless Academy and The Data & Marketing Association (DMA) as part of the Skills Bootcamps program funded through the Department of Education’s National Skills Fund. Fearless Adventures have been awarded £499,928 to run a skills bootcamp and DMAs have been awarded £154,427.
Both organizations will offer free digital marketing training designed with employers to help residents acquire critical new digital skills and provide an accessible route to employment with local businesses. Additionally, those who complete the training are guaranteed real-world job interviews to help companies close the digital skills gap.
Cllr Eamonn O’Brien, Head of Education, Work, Skills, Apprenticeships and Digital, Greater Manchester, said: Earned workers or those considering a career change.
“This program creates a clear path to a future-proof, skilled, and well-paying career. Employers acquire recruits with the required skills.
“Accessible and affordable training is a key weapon in fighting the cost of living crisis as we strive for a better post-coronavirus future. It helps us take control of our future.”
