Catawba College and Chartwells Higher Education Open State-of-the-Art Dining Facility Cannon Dining Commons

Salisbury, N.C. (WBTV) – Catawba College and its dining services partner, Chartwells Higher Education, celebrated the opening of the newly renovated Cannon Dining Commons at noon on Friday, September 23 at the centrally located Stanback Plaza. “Our goal at Commons was to provide our students with the best dining experience,” said Dr. Jared Tice, Senior Vice President of College Experience and Dean of Students at Catawba College. “With Commons, we have not only achieved this, but provided an engaging, modern dining atmosphere for our community to connect and engage in fellowship.”

The new layout includes a relocated salad bar station and a new Pure Eats station designed exclusively for foods that avoid the top 9 foods.
