The team’s creations.” will be judged by a panel and a prize will be awarded to the winner.”
“While the team creates the outfits, our generous closet sponsors and affiliated boutiques present a fashion show of business wear and their favorite fall outfits.
Since 2015, Amelia’s Closet has helped disadvantaged women prepare for employment by providing professional attire, tips for successful interviews, and makeovers. Clients are referred by approximately 50 organizations including Doors of Hope, Greenhouse Ministries, and The Journey Home.
The event will also include a silent auction of high end handbags, artwork and gift items.
“Having a job gives you purpose,” Powers said. “Women who have overcome hardships lack the professional attire they need to make a first impression at a job interview. It’s about helping end the cycle.”
