Albright College Fashion Professional Returns to NYFW

As the only undergraduate college whose students and alumni presented their designs on the New York Fashion Week runway last year, Albright College will host eight more students on this year’s Fifth Avenue runway on Saturday, September 10 at 7 p.m. and alumni fashion collections. 608 49th Street and 5th Avenue, New York City.

Produced by Albright Alumni R. Scott French ’87 in New York and boasting a crew of over 50 Albright students, the show features fashion designs by current Albright students at Albright Alumni.follow us on social media #Albright NYFW.

Albright New York Fashion Week (NYFW) Designers:

Olivia Connor ’18, from Baltimore, Maryland, and was interested in fashion illustration from an early age. Even though she arrived in Albright with no formal experience in sewing, Connor excelled and was encouraged by her professors, friends, family, and her late mother to pursue a degree in fashion design. Thank you for your support and guidance.

Nayaraija Fournilier ’22A native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she studied fashion design at Albright and spent last summer working at Paula Hian Designs, helping designers create their own fabrics and custom dresses. He combines his love of painting with his love of streetwear to create unique and creative expressions of fashion.

Camille Fuller ’17A fashion design and merchandising graduate from Albright, Sussex, New Jersey, she specializes in sustainable design with a particular emphasis on natural dyeing techniques. and dyes to produce small batch pieces. She holds a certification as a Sustainable Design Entrepreneur from the Fashion Institute of Technology.

Nicholas Kedge ’22is from Centerville, Virginia and was born in Bogota, Colombia. He is Albright studying fashion at his college. His Kedge is always sensitive to the world around him and interprets the details of every garment he designs with inspiration. . He strives to transform the basic shapes of the body and silhouettes of clothing into organic and fluid designs.

Sarah Kim ’24Studied fashion at Albright College in Ligonnier, Pennsylvania. She mainly focuses on building period and theatrical costume garments.Sara hopes to design and create theater costumes for different types of performances in the coming years.

Jonathan Otero ’20, from Lancaster, Pennsylvania, is an all-around creative individual who is constantly finding new ways to design innovative and meaningful clothing. After graduating from his college with his design degree in fashion, Albright worked as a sewing floor coordinator at his maker of patterns at Cole, Stitch Fix. He has extensive creative and technical knowledge of the fashion industry.

Liz Polley ’07An Albright fashion and theater graduate, she recently returned to her alma mater as an assistant professor of drama. Polley has a Master of Fine Arts degree in costume design and technology and worked as her manager and adjunct professor in her costume shop at Kean University. Polley has worked at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, South Texas College, Phoenix Theater Company, Shakespeare Theater, Glimmerglass Festival, and Surflight Theater. Liz’s professional wardrobe Her career highlights include Taylor her Swift, Pink, Justin her Bieber, Paula her Abdul and Ariana her Grande concerts. She has also been instrumental in national tours of Kinky Boots, Dirty Dancing, Jersey Boys, Spamalot, West Side Story, Beauty and the Beast, Cats and Ragtime. It didn’t exist.

Jennifer Rainelli ’17A native of Smithtown, New York, she earned a bachelor’s degree in costume design from Albright before earning a master’s degree in costume design and production from the University of Alabama. Raineri, who has designed and draped for many theatrical productions, is particularly fond of recreating historical patterns as inspiration for contemporary designs.

Albright College fashion graduates work around the world as designers, celebrity stylists, influencers, production executives and more. Their employers include Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein and Swarovski Crystal. Many people are starting their own businesses that are thriving.
