From Prada to Maison Valentino to Adut Akech, some of fashion’s most important forces came together at the CNMI Sustainable Fashion Awards to discuss and celebrate the sustainability movement in fashion.

Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana (CNMI), in collaboration with the United Nations Ethical Fashion Initiative (EFI), with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the ICE Agency and the City of Milan, presented the CNMI Sustainable Fashion Awards 2022 at Teatro alla Scala in Milan. Then, before the fashion show break, The Groundbreaker Award was presented to Grounded Indigo by Albini_Next and Stony Creek Colors.

The fourth award was followed by a show by Gucci that unveiled five Alessandro Michele looks seen on runways and red carpets around the world.

The next series of awards followed the runway show and included The Human Rights Award presented to Dr. Rubana Hug. Also, the Bicester Collection Award for Emerging Designers awarded to Nkwo Unkwa.

Next up was Prada’s third of four runway shows. This was a showcase of Prada’s most iconic looks, specially selected by Miuccia for her Prada and her team.

After Prada, the Pioneer Award went to Eileen Fisher and the Biodiversity Conservation Award to the Ermenegildo Zegna Group.

Surprisingly, the Fairness and Inclusion Award was not awarded to anyone at this year’s awards ceremony, as the judges were unable to find someone who made fairness and inclusion a key part of their activism in fashion. did not.

Before the final round of the awards ceremony, Maison Valentino performed its final runway show, unveiling five looks from the already iconic Valentino Pink PP collection.
