Citi Launches 10th Annual e for Education Campaign

London–(business wire) — Citi has launched its 10th annual e for Education campaign. This is an initiative that helps raise awareness and funds for education-focused non-profit organizations that tackle illiteracy among children and improve access to quality education.
Citi Markets will donate a portion of the earnings of businesses traded electronically over a period of 5 years.th September and October 31, 2022.

In 2021, Citi’s e for Education campaign raised a record $9.6 million. The campaign has donated more than $56 million to her, and its nonprofit partners have helped more than one million young people since her 2013 launch.
Citi customers and employees also support selected nonprofits through a range of educational activities, including CV clinics, mock interviews, trading simulations and economics classes.
Citi’s 2022 e for Education partners include:
- Asian Women’s University – A fully independent regional agency dedicated to empowering women in the most marginalized communities across Asia through women’s education and leadership development

- Malala Fund – Break down the barriers that keep more than 130 million girls around the world from attending school
- pencil of promise – A non-profit focused on removing barriers and supporting access to quality education in Laos, Guatemala and Ghana
- Place2Be – A children’s mental health charity with over 25 years of experience providing mental health support to students, families and staff in UK schools
- reach the world – Bringing the benefits of travel into the classroom through virtual exchanges, encouraging young people to become more curious and confident global citizens
