On August 12, Sanders and Regis Jesuit High School began construction of its 65,000-square-foot Science & Innovation Center in front of a large crowd of students, parents, faculty, administrators, and dedicated donors. This new building will serve all students and dramatically expand project-based learning and collaboration among the school’s 1,700 young men and women. The facility’s programming enhances STEM offerings and further complements the strong liberal arts foundation provided by the Regis Jesuits’ unique single-gender teaching model.

Located at the western end of McNicholas Green and including additional parking, the $35 million building was designed by Colorado-based Larson Incitti Architects. Construction is expected to take about 18 months.

With overcrowded enrollment, the Regis Jesuits are in dire need of additional space and upgraded facilities for interdisciplinary exploration, creativity, entrepreneurship and scientific experimentation.
