Mozambique

June 2, 2022: In the Mandimba district of Niassa state, the principal of Escola Primaria Comprita de Hamera primary school has been detained by police on suspicion of being the leader of an armed thief group in the state. June 10, 2022: Men armed with machetes attacked and killed the president of the hospital branch of the Enugu Welfare Society and Alex Ekweme, a staff member of the Federal University Teaching Hospital, in Abakaliki city, Ebony state. South Sudan

June 20, 2022: In the town of Rumbek, Lakes State, 12 primary and secondary school teachers were arrested by members of the South Sudan People’s Defense Forces. They marched peacefully to the Lakes State Legislature, where they demanded pay raises, benefits, and arrears. At the same time, six of his other teachers were detained by the Ministry of Education. On June 22, 21 of his teachers, who were walking towards parliament to find out why their colleagues were detained, were also arrested and taken to the Panda Military Barracks for detention.
