Nine RWJBarnabas health facilities were nationally recognized for their efforts to increase organ, eye and tissue donor registrations statewide through the Workplace Partnership for Life Hospital Organ Donation Campaign.
WPFL is a national initiative that connects the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, the Agency for Health Resource Services, and the organ donation community with workplaces across the country to spread the word about the importance of organ donation.
The WPFL Hospital Organ Donation Campaign helps hospitals by educating staff, patients, visitors and communities about the critical need for organ, eye and tissue donation, including providing the opportunity to register as an organ donor. and medical institutions to “let life bloom”.
