County Seeks Applicant for Public Health and Social Services Advisory Board

The Lewis County Board of Health invites applications to the Lewis County Public Health and Social Services Advisory Board. Currently, he has one open position for individuals with homeless housing services experience. All positions must be filled by Lewis County residents.

An 11-member Volunteer Committee focuses on various community health, environmental health, and social services issues and provides recommendations to the Health Committee. Meetings are held monthly for 60 minutes. A member’s term is her three years. After reviewing the application, membership recommendations are made by the current Advisory Board and presented to the Lewis County Health Board for final approval.
