Richardson, Teeter and Terrell Win Accounting Education Award

The American Accounting Association has presented the 2022 Accounting Education Innovation Award to Vernon J. Richardson, Ryan Teeter, and Katie L. Terrell for their innovative textbooks. Richardson, Sam M. Distinguished Professor of Accounting at Walton College of Business and holder of the W. Gresen Chair. Terrell, Accounting Instructor at Walton College. And Teeter, a clinical associate professor at his School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh Katz, co-authored a textbook published by McGraw-Hill.
According to the association, “The Annual Innovation in Accounting Education Award aims to encourage innovation and improvement in accounting education. Submissions will be judged on their innovation, demonstrated teaching benefit and adaptability by other academic institutions, or adaptability to other circumstances.”
