Hundreds of people in Greater Manchester will be trained in digital marketing skills and will be placed in high-paying jobs through the launch of new training programs.
The Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA) has contracted The Fearless Academy and The Data and Marketing Association (DMA) as part of the Skills Bootcamps program funded through the Department of Education’s National Skills Fund.
Fearless Adventures have been awarded £499,928 to run a skills bootcamp and DMAs have been awarded £154,427.
Both organizations will offer best-in-class digital skills designed with employers to help urban area residents acquire critical new digital skills and provide an accessible route to employment with local businesses. We offer free digital marketing training.
Additionally, those who complete the training are guaranteed real-world job interviews that help companies close digital skills gaps.
Fearless Academy’s bootcamps focus on search engine optimization (SEO), pay per click (PPC), social media, graphic design, web development, as well as a set of foundational digital skills.
The curriculum is led by a digital marketing specialist from parent brand Fearless Adventures.
In addition to this, the Academy’s dedicated talent team supports learners upon completion of a 12-week Skills Bootcamp and leverages our extensive Founder Network to provide an accessible route to employment.
Focused on digital marketing strategies, DMA’s skills bootcamps help learners of all backgrounds develop and increase their access to creative, data, digital, and strategic marketing skills.
Many organizations, especially small businesses, will benefit from an expanding pool of skilled talent with enhanced digital marketing skill sets.

“All participants will be offered a variety of pathways tailored to their interests and employers will be able to recruit recruits with the skills they need.
“Accessible and affordable training is a key weapon in fighting the cost of living crisis as we strive for a better post-coronavirus future.
“This program will help urban area residents access those opportunities and take control of their future.”
Skills Bootcamps are flexible courses of up to 16 weeks for those aged 19 and over, offering the opportunity to build sector-specific skills and a guaranteed interview with a local employer upon completion.
The program is part of the government’s Lifetime Skills Guarantee and Jobs Plan, designed to help people embark on the career ladder, return to work and access advancement opportunities while helping employers meet their skills needs. is part of

Over 50s
Returning to work from childcare/maternity leave
Those with health conditions or disabilities
Fearless Adventures and DMA offer flexible online training courses. This training course takes up to 16 weeks to complete so people can have the training in their lives.
All courses are free and put individuals in a stronger position to improve their careers and employment opportunities.
