Lane A. Glenn, president of Northern Essex Community College, is expected to be among them when the state Higher Education Commission interviews finalists for the commissioner’s job this week.
Finalists are expected to be named today following last week’s board inquiry into candidates’ backgrounds, including “references and detailed background checks.” According to the Higher Education Commission’s timeline, Glenn will have a formal interview on Thursday.
