A new telemedicine toolkit is helping train future healthcare workers statewide. $130,000 in Innovation Grants Helped Universities Hawaii Mānoa Nancy Atmospera-Walch School of Nursing (Nawson) has created a telehealth training toolkit that is culturally appropriate, immersive, and experiential for healthcare providers and students, enabling them to deliver quality team-based healthcare.

April 2020, Nawson Awarded an innovation grant from the state Hawaii Governor’s Emergency Education Relief (gear) Funds as part of the Commonwealth Careless activity. Nawson One of 31 innovation grant awards, including stem Education, project-based learning opportunities and leadership development programs.
