Thibodeau received his M.D. from the Pritzker College of Medicine at the University of Chicago, Illinois. She completed postdoctoral training in internal medicine and pediatrics at the University of Rochester, New York. Thibodeau previously received a BA in Chemistry, Sociology and Biology from Bowdoin College. She has practiced primary care in New York, Colorado, and Maine. Thibodeau has also held many departmental positions over the years, particularly in graduate and postdoctoral medical research, where she has accumulated over 20 years of teaching experience.
