When it comes to merging luxury fashion and racing, Ferrari continues to champion a lifestyle beyond the track with the launch of its third collection. During this Spring/Summer 2023 season, during Milan Fashion Week, his famous racing brand held a show at the relatively small venue of Teatro his Lirico.
After two seasons of carefully looking under the hood of Ferrari’s engineering and style codes, Ferrari Creative Director Rocco Iannone has set the tone for the new aesthetic. This time Iannone focuses on the true Ferrari dream and the lifestyle that surrounds it. With a constant focus on details, materials and products inspired by the brand’s 75-year heritage, Iannone puts a contemporary lens on the collection to signal the start of a new season.
While a modern vision is taken to the circuit, the collection also includes essential racing motifs, including a workwear-inspired men’s look in olive green. Known as the official uniform of Formula 1 race car drivers, the jumpsuit is chicly revived with a selection of vibrant colors and leather materials that reflect the Italian brand’s craftsmanship. As a tribute to his racer look, official Ferrari and sponsor badges give the jumpsuit and technical his shirt an authentic look.
Menswear focuses on oversized suits, with trousers and blazers featuring relaxed tailoring, paired with the aforementioned jumpsuits or tie-dye printed shirts. The jacket is enhanced by vibrant repeating patterns and fresh new color tones that blend well with the typically feminine and masculine motifs. High-quality Italian craftsmanship remains at the forefront as Ferrari presents his third collection.
