Enrollment begins for education classes for homebuyers
Northwest Montana’s Community Action Partnership (CAPNM) will once again host HUD-approved homebuyer education classes at its Kalispell location on Main Street. The first class is scheduled for Saturday, October 8th from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm. The cost is $75 per household. However, scholarships are available by contacting Sara Briggs. All paid registration materials must be received by 5:00 pm on September 28th.

Complete all intake packages and submit by 5:00 pm, September 28 to CAPNM, 214 Main Street, Kalispell by emailing sbriggs@capnwmt.org (using PDF attachment) or faxing to 406-565-4834 must be returned to Or mail to Sara Briggs, CAPNM, PO Box 88, Kalispell, MT 59903. Check or cash must be received by 5:00 PM to complete registration.
After receiving your intake package, you will need to schedule a one-on-one counseling session that requires a HUD. This session usually takes place before the class is held. Counseling session schedules are flexible. Registrants can choose to meet by phone or in person. It takes about 1 hour.
During class, registrants will be able to meet and interact with several local lenders and other professionals such as realtors, insurance agents, and home inspectors. Completing this class and one-on-one counseling session is one of the key components to qualifying for various loan products and down payment assistance programs.
