These guidelines are intended to help member countries of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) reopen schools and keep them open for safe, in-person education. This is an urgent priority for sustaining the learning process of children and adolescents, ensuring their right to education and recovering learning losses. The guidelines also aim to strengthen the resilience of education systems and the cross-cutting efforts that connect them.
