ECPD Provides Medical Assistance and Responds to Housing and Residential Education

The Emerson College Police Department provides Beacon with a weekly incident journal. Beacon staff edits incident journals for style and clarity, but not content.
Friday, September 2nd
ECPD responded to requests from housing and housing education staff to assist with security inspections at Paramount Residence Halls. HRE confiscated the contraband and transferred it to her ECPD for disposal. HRE introduced concerned students to community standards and student behavior for what they deem appropriate behavior.
Tuesday, September 6th
ECPD assisted with medical transport by Armstrong Ambulance from 216 Tremont Street.

Wednesday, September 7
ECPD responded to students in need of assistance in the Little Building. ECPD provided assistance to students seeking additional medical attention.
Thursday, September 8th
The ECPD has responded to reports of a trapped elevator at 2 Boylston Place, No. 2 elevator. Facility staff and Delta Beckwith staff responded, and seven members of the community were able to exit the elevator without incident.
Thursday, September 8th
ECPD responded to the Little Building at the request of HRE staff and found two Emerson students who accessed the roof without authorization or safety gear. Both students were referred to community standards and student behavior for behavior deemed appropriate.

ECPD has catered to the Little Building for students needing medical assistance. ECPD provided assistance to students seeking additional medical attention.
Saturday, September 10th
ECPD responded to Boston Common for Emerson College students in need of medical assistance. ECPD provided assistance to students seeking additional medical attention.
Saturday, September 10th
The ECPD found graffiti on the exterior walls of Piano Row student dormitories. No suspect was identified.
Tuesday, September 13th
The ECPD has responded to the Paramount Center regarding the reported security bypass. After conducting a building check, the ECPD was unable to find any unauthorized personnel.
