The University of Evansville women’s basketball program has announced the dates and opponents for its annual Education Day game scheduled to take on Chicago State University at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 16 at the Ford Center.
Students, teachers and parents in grades K-6 are invited to cheer on Ace, with the first 5,000 registrants guaranteed to receive a lower-level seat for just $1. Parents who want to attend a game with their child and receive $1 discount tickets must submit a ticket request along with each class order. All game day tickets will be raised to $5.
Details on how to register for classes and purchase tickets will be available soon.
On match days, doors open at 9:30am, the educational program begins at 10am, and tip-off takes place at 11am (the game lasts approximately two hours). No transportation will be provided, but bus parking will be provided near the Ford Center.
Students, teachers and chaperones are permitted to bring their own lunch to the game. The Ford Center store will also be open.
The Aces are looking to break Evansville’s all-time women’s basketball single-game attendance record of 4,581, set in Evansville in 2016, during an Education Day contest with Oakland City.
