The Kona Malama Ohana Health Fair will be held this afternoon

The Island of Hawaii Community Health Center will host the Kona Malama Ohana Health Fair on Saturday, August 20 from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm. 19 tests and vaccines, as well as opportunities to speak with local health and social service providers.
The Malama Ohana Health Fair is held at the Kealakehe Pavilion in Kailua-Kona (74-5214 Keanalehu Dr.).
Hosted by the Hawaii Department of Health and a community-based organization, the goal of the Kona Marama Ohana Health Fair is to share information about health and Covid-19 while getting the community to enjoy a fun afternoon together.
“Even though the pandemic has dragged on, this is an opportunity for people to come together, receive valuable health information, have their Covid questions answered, and have a good time,” said Terry Matagi of the Hawaii Department of Health.
The Mālama ʻOhana Health Fair offers free eye tests, blood pressure tests, glucose tests, free lunches, gas card giveaways, Keiki slippers, free COVID-19 tests and vaccines, and more from the following organizations: Offers.
