Injury update: Dubbo Sweeney updates multiple Clemson Tigers health status

Clemson held the first scrimmage of fall camp inside Memorial Stadium on Saturday morning.
Head coach Dabo Swinney then gave an update on the team’s health.
Junior wideout Bo Collins has been wearing casual clothes for the past few days after suffering a recent shoulder injury, but Swinney said he will be detained next week and hopes he will be back “soon.” The Tigers will have him back at some point in the final weeks ahead of their season-opener game against Georgia Tech in Atlanta.
Swinney said he has good range of motion in his shoulder, but is unable to make contact at this time.
Junior receiver EJ Williams, who has missed multiple practices in recent days due to a hematoma, is expected to return on Monday.

Redshirt freshman Troy Stellart tore his anterior cruciate ligament during practice Friday and will miss the rest of the season.
“Unfortunately, it’s only been since he got here,” Swinney said. It’s another setback for him. I’m sorry, but I thought I’d encourage you. He has four years left. ”
Offensive lineman Mitchell Mays, who has been on concussion protocol all week, is expected to return on Monday.
Swinney also added that a player left the field during a scrimmage that may have sprained his ankle, but did not confirm the extent with training staff. Although seen by the media leaving the stadium in the front seat, Swinney did not confirm whether it was Thomas who sustained the injury.
