Once you have your diploma, some may need help deciding what to do next.

“We help students realize that a diploma is a stepping stone, not an end goal,” says White. “In fact, adult education staff have many tools to help students on their way to paid employment, including vocational preparation, postsecondary education or training, and specific employer requirements.

“These programs are free to anyone over the age of 16 who is not currently enrolled in a secondary school program,” said White.

“We now have day and evening in-person classes in Reynoldsville and Punksutawney. Online classes are now available for those unable to attend in-person classes,” White said. say. “We are also looking for volunteer tutors and classroom aides. These volunteers will assist him one-on-one during class or at another scheduled time.”
